For us, Chiropractic is a family affair!!!
Dr Joe started to get adjusted as a young kid growing up in Alice Springs. When he graduated from RMIT chiropractic school in Melbourne 15 years ago, he became the 4th chiropractor in his family. He worked alongside his brothers and sister in Melbourne for a few years before deciding to move overseas.
In Spain, where he ran his own practice for 6 years and worked as a teacher at the Barcelona College of Chiropractic, he met his wife Laurence who, you would have guessed it, is also a chiropractor!!!
Joe spends lots of time studying and fine tuning his techniques. He specialised in peadiatrics. He participated in many humanitarian missions around the world and helps people from babies to pregnant women, athletes, seniors and everybody in between. He has a passion for teaching his patients about the innate ability of the body to adapt and heal itself.
His new found passion for fishing and diving is happily bringing him back to Exmouth!!
Dr Laurence was introduced to the virtues of chiropractic very early in her life when she was diagnosed with scoliosis at the age of 6. Her fierce attitude led her to pick chiropractic as a career, a profession which, at the time, was illegal in her home country France. She graduated from Life University in Atlanta (USA) 20 years ago. After a couple years practicing in Ireland, it is in Barcelona (Spain) that she settled, opened and ran her own practice for 10 years.
Laurence won Chiropractor of the year 2011 in Spain for her dedication to her patients, her involvement in the Spanish Chiropractic Association and the Barcelona College of Chiropractic as well as her teachings at various seminars. But her biggest achievement of all is being mum to three little girls all born at home.
In the last 4 years, Joe, Laurence and our 3 little girls have been traveling around Australia. We believe Exmouth and its people offer everything we want as a lifestyle for our family. We look forward to being a part of and caring for this community.
